Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/20/2013

Receipts: 6424    Last Week: 6473   Last Year: Holiday

Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 lower. A light supply of feeder heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower with some steadiness noted on 700-800 lbs yearlings. Steer and heifer calves sold mostly steady. Demand moderate. Another strong cold front is expected to move into the area Thursday bringing fridgid temperatures and freezing rain. Quality this week was average for yearlings and plain to average for calves. Supply included 69 percent over 600 lbs and 33 percent heifers.
