Compared to the last test two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers not well tested but a weak undertone noted. Steer and heifer calves 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand moderate to good. Quality plain to average and much less attractive than the last test. Numbers of long weaned or yearling cattle very limited. Demand moderate for calves. Strong cold front expected later in the week and this hurting demand, especially for short weaned or un-weaned calves.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 375-400 lbs 219.00-225.00; 400-450 lbs 213.00-229.00, 415 lbs fleshy 205.00; 450-500 lbs 204.00-213.00; 500-550 lbs 185.00-196.00; 550-600 lbs 176.50-189.00; 600-700 lbs 161.00-168.00; lot 775 lbs 156.25; 800-830 lbs 149.50-151.75; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 172.00-183.00; 650-700 lbs 166.00-172.25; 700-800 lbs 160.00-169.50; lot 790 lbs fleshy 157.50; 800-825 lbs 158.00-164.25; 925-985 lbs 149.00-153.00.

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: lot 395 lbs 189.00; lot 400 lbs fleshy 186.00; 425 lbs 196.00; few 450-500 lbs 174.00-184.00; 500-550 lbs 167.00-180.00, fleshy 156.50-163.00; 550-600 lbs 160.00-168.50, 585 lbs fleshy 159.00; 600-635 lbs 145.00-151.50; Yearlings: 600-675 lbs 153.00-159.50, lot 630 lbs fancy 166.00; 700-785 lbs 150.00-160.00.
