Receipts: 4236    Last Week: 8608    Year Ago: 4115

Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 lower. Steer calves steady to 2.00 lower in a light test. Heifer calves steady to firm. Demand moderate to good for all classes. Quality average to attractive, with several nice drafts off wheat pasture. High winds and dry conditions continue to put the area in high fire danger. However, relief is on the way with two rounds of storms expected over the weekend and into the early part of next week. Receipts this week included 80 percent over 600 lbs and 42 percent heifers.

Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 315-375 lbs 231.00-247.00; 400-500 lbs 210.00-236.00; 500-600 lbs 186.00-206.00, thin fleshed 515 lbs 216.00; 600-650 lbs 171.00-179.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 175.00-191.00; 700-800 lbs 164.00-175.50; 800-900 lbs 157.85-165.00, load fleshy 895 lbs 155.75; 900-975 lbs 154.00-159.75; load 1025 lbs 152.00.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: 450-500 lbs 198.00-209.00; few thin fleshed 575 lbs 191.00; 625-700 lbs 167.00-173.50; 740-800 lbs 160.00-167.50; 800-900 lbs 154.00-159.00.
   
Medium and Large 2: few 390 lbs 200.00; 475-500 lbs 186.00-191.00; few 615 lbs 169.00.
