Oklahoma Farm Bureau Set for 2014 Leadership Conference

Oklahoma Farm Bureau Set for 2014 Leadership Conference The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Leadership Conference will be held Feb. 17-18 in Oklahoma City at the Skirvin Hotel. The conference focuses on updating members on the legislative issues on state and federal levels.


The agenda for the two day conference features Congressman Markwayne Mullin and Congressman James Lankford. They both will be giving an update from Washington, D.C. Also, on the agenda is Cordon DeKock with the State Chamber of Oklahoma and Dave Hageman with Protect the Harvest.

February 17

1:30 p.m. - Call to Order and Welcome - Tom Buchanan, Oklahoma Farm Bureau President

2 p.m. - Washington, D.C. update - Congressman Markwayne Mullin

2:45 p.m. - Oklahoma Farm Bureau Policy Information - John Collison, OKFB Vice President of Public Policy and Media Affairs

3 p.m. - Politics 2014 and Beyond - Cordon DeKock, State Chamber of Oklahoma

4 p.m. - Adjourn

5 p.m. - Farm Bureau Week Kickoff and Legislative Reception - Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma Attorney General

5:45 p.m. - Dinner

6:30 p.m. - Champion Awards




February 18

7:15 a.m. - Breakfast

7:45 a.m. - Washington, D.C. update - Congressman James Lankford

8:45 a.m. - OKAgFund Ceremony

9:15 a.m. - Break
