Receipts: 1398    Last Week: 1357    Year Ago: 3839

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00-3.00 higher on limited comparable sales. No trend established for calves. Demand moderate to good. Extreme cold in the early part of week hampered livestock movement within the state. Quality low to average. Receipts this week totaled 82 percent over 600 lbs and 42 percent heifers.


Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: pkg 350 lbs 259.00, few 390 lbs 210.00; few 223.00; 500-525 lbs 212.00-216.00; few 590 lbs 184.00; 625-640 lbs 171.00-174.00; 740-795 lbs 164.50-166.25, fancy and thin fleshed 170.50-171.00; 800-900 lbs 156.75-164.50; 900-975 lbs 154.00-157.00.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: 700-800 lbs 159.00-164.50.
   
Medium and Large 2: few 580 lbs 170.00; pkg 690 lbs 155.00.
   

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: few 315 lbs 228.00; 440-500 lbs 180.00-202.00; 545-575 lbs 172.00-174.00; 640-700 lbs 158.00-166.00; 700-800 lbs 152.00-163.50; 820-880 lbs 150.00-153.50; 900-925 144.00-149.00.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: few 730 lbs 155.50; few 810 lbs 145.00.
