Receipts: 6633    Last Week: 9909    Year Ago: 6044

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00 to 4.00 higher; grazing cattle advanced 6.00 to 8.00 higher with very good demand. Feeder heifers 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves were lightly tested not enough for an accurate trend. Demand good to very good for all classes. Quality average to mostly attractive. Spring type weather continues across the state bringing strong winds and warm temperatures. Receipts this week totaled 79 percent over 600 lbs and 37 percent heifers.


Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 380-400 lbs 262.00-263.00; 400-450 lbs 243.00-258.00; 450-500 lbs 226.00-247.00; 500-550 lbs 204.00-224.00;550-600 lbs 193.50-209.00; 650-700 lbs 177.50-187.50; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 185.00-197.00; 700-800 lbs 167.75-185.50; 800-900 lbs 158.00-167.20, load fleshy 875 lbs 155.00; 900-1000 lbs 149.50-159.20; lot 1000 lbs 151.75.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: 300-400 lbs 227.00-250.00; 415-500 lbs 219.00-227.00, few fleshy 490 lbs 201.00; 525-600 lbs 192.00-198.00; 625-700 lbs 173.00-191.00; 700-800 lbs 161.00-174.00; lot 890 lbs 156.75; 925-950 lbs 150.00-152.50.
