Measuring Rainfall by the Inch- Our Latest Oklahoma Rainfall Map

Rainfall totals- based on totals from the Oklahoma Mesonet- look good in several locales in mostly the eastern half of the state. Durant and Wilburton won the rainfall sweepstakes based on this five day map above with Durant reporting 2.1 inches of rain and Wilburton checking in with 1.91 inches of rain. Other locations with more than an inch and a half of rainfall in the last five days include Sallisaw, Tahlequah, Westville, Wister, Talihina, Cloudy and Hugo.
Two locations received more than an inch of rain west of I-35: Waurika with 1.19 inches and Ringling with 1.06 inches of the wet stuff.
Forecasters point to this weekend for the next chance of rain in Oklahoma.
