Mon, 12 May 2014 05:33:51 CDT

Ray Sidwell Honored at Lahoma Wheat Field Day Special tribute was paid at the 2014 North Central Research Station Field Day in Lahoma, Oklahoma as the Oklahoma Wheat Commission and the Division of Agriculture of Oklahoma State University honored the long time Superintendent of the Research Station, Ray Sidwell, who passed away in December 2013.

The Sidwell Family is shown above with representatives of the OSU Division of Agriculture receiving the Commendation for Ray's years of service in developing the North Central facility into a world class Research farm for dryland agriculture- specializing in small grains and more recently, canola.

Farm Director Ron Hays talked with Dr. Mike Woods of the OSU Division of Agriculture after the presentation and he reflected with Ron about the value of Ray Sidwell's contribution to Oklahoma agriculture. Click on the LISTEN BAR below to hear those comments.
