Feeder Cattle Auction for 10/13/14

Receipts: 2930    Week Ago: 3900    Year Ago: 5578

Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves and yearlings steady, except yearling steers over 700 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Demand good, supply light. Thunder storms and heavy rain across the trade area curtailed receipts. The feeder supply included 49 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, 14 percent bulls, with 35 percent over 600 lbs.
