Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 09/23/2015

Receipts: 4790    Last Week: 7680    Year Ago: 4162

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 8.00-10.00 lower with exception of 750-800 lbs selling 4.00 lower. Feeder heifers 6.00-9.00 lower with instances of 15.00 lower on light weight yearlings. Steer and heifer calves 6.00-10.00 lower in a limited test. Quality was plain to attractive. Demand was moderate at best for feeders as the CME Board continues to fall. Autumn has finally arrived in Oklahoma with cool, crisp mornings and mild afternoons. Supply included 78 percent over 600 lbs and 34 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-325 lbs 277.50-282.00;400-500 lbs 220.00-241.00; 500-600 lbs 196.00-217.00, pkg fleshy 695 lbs 194.00; 600-700 lbs 183.00-192.50; Yearlings: 600-675 lbs 196.50-198.00; 700-800 lbs 185.50-191.50; 800-900 lbs 172.75-183.25; 900-950 lbs 172.00-174.00; load 1010 lbs 165.00.
   Medium and Large 1-2: Calves: 350-365 lbs 217.50-218.00; pkg 485 lbs 210.50; 565-600 lbs 191.50-195.00; 600-700 lbs 175.00-177.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 179.00-193.00, thin fleshed 190.50-191.00; 700-800 lbs 173.00-181.00, thin fleshed 184.00.
   Medium and Large 2: pkg 395 lbs 200.00.

   Feeder Holstein Steers Large 3: lot 555 lbs 150.00; lot 715 lbs 144.00.

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1: 400-425 lbs 226.00-228.00; 500-530 lbs 192.00-208.00; 625-675 lbs 172.00-184.00; pkg 915 lbs 148.00.
