Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/07/2015

Receipts: 5210    Last Week: 5051    Year Ago: 5708

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly 7.00-10.00 higher with most advances seen on 700 lbs yearlings. Feeder heifers 4.00-7.00 higher. Calves 3.00-5.00 higher in a very limited test.   Quality was plain to attractive. Demand was good to very good for feeders following a strong rally on the CME Board. Warm temperatures moved in over the area with a slight chance of rain on Friday.Supply included 76 percent over 600 lbs and 36 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 375-400 lbs 245.00-253.00; 415-500 lbs 216.00-235.00; 500-600 lbs 198.00-216.00; 600-700 lbs 171.00-190.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 180.00-204.50; 700-800 lbs 182.25-196.50, fancy 199.25; 800-900 lbs 177.75-186.00; 900-1000 lbs 166.00-176.00.
   Medium and Large 1-2: lot 525 lbs 201.00; 550-600 lbs 188.00-189.00; 625-650 lbs calves 170.00-175.50; 600-625 lbs thin fleshed 192.00-194.00;700-775 lbs 176.00-185.50; 895-900 lbs 165.50-168.00; load 1000 lbs 160.50.
   
   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1: lot 400 lbs 200.00; 500-550 lbs 175.00-191.00; lot 620 lbs 186.00; few 700 lbs 164.00.

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 325-350 lbs 234.00-249.00; lot 380 lbs 219.00; 415-500 lbs 191.00-208.00, fleshy 187.00; 515-575 lbs 191.00-197.00; 650-675 lbs 174.00-180.00; few 725-750 lbs 161.00-171.00; Yearlings: 615-700 lbs 174.00-187.00; 700-800 lbs 161.00-177.50; 825-900 lbs 160.00-168.50; 900-1000 lbs 155.00-157.00; lot 1050 lbs 154.00.
