Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/28/2015

Receipts: 5226    Last Week: 7276    Year Ago: 3951

Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Calves traded mostly 4.00 to 10.00 higher. Quality wasaverage to attractive. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. A widestorm swept across the entire state bringing some much needed moisture inCentral and Western Oklahoma, many more storms are expected in the future. Supply included 58 percent over 600 lbs and 33 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-350 lbs 300.00-355.00; 350-400 lbs 255.00-272.00; 400-450 lbs 235.00-267.50; 450-500 lbs 220.00-243.00; 500-600 lbs 204.00-232.00; 600-700 lbs 179.00-196.00; 750-800 lbs 169.00-172.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 199.00-211.00; 700-800 lbs 193.50-198.00; 800-900 lbs 188.50-193.75.
