Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 10/14/2015

Receipts: 8150    Last Week: 5210    Year Ago: 6035

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly 2.00-7.00 higher with most advances seen on 700 lbs yearlings. Feeder heifers 3.00-6.00 higher. Calves 5.00-10.00 higher in a light test.   Quality was plain to attractive. Demand was good to very good as the CME boardcontinues to rally. Weather continues to be warm and dry causing counties to declare drought conditions across Southermn and Western Oklahoma. Supply included 76 percent over 600 lbs and 36 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 325-350 lbs 292.50-295.00;350-400 lbs 270.00-292.00; 400-500 lbs 224.00-248.00, fancy, thin fleshed 250.00-254.00; 500-600 lbs 200.00-221.00, fancy, thin fleshed 217.00-220.00,full, unweaned 181.00-194.00; 600-700 lbs 175.00-197.00, fancy 189.00; 700-715 lbs 177.00-180.00; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 194.50-205.00, thin fleshed 210.00; 700-800 lbs 186.00-202.75; 800-900 lbs 180.00-190.50; 900-1000 lbs 170.50-178.00; few 1175 lbs 150.00.
   Medium and Large 1-2: Calves: lot 360-400 lbs 257.00, thin fleshed 285.00; 400-500 lbs 207.00-225.00; 525-600 lbs 199.00-208.50; lot 645 lbs 187.00;715-725 lbs 172.00-175.00; Yearlings: 640-700 lbs 190.50-196.50, thin fleshed 670 lbs 195.00; 700-800 lbs 178.00-189.00; 800-900 lbs 172.00-182.50, thin fleshed 183.00; few 975 lbs 166.00; load 1025 lbs 161.50.
   Medium and Large 2: 550-600 lbs 185.00-190.00.
