Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/18/2015

Receipts: 6140    Last Week: 9750    Year Ago: 6960

Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Calves mostly steady. Demand was moderate for all classes, as buyers were optimistic following an upturn on the CME board. A strong cold front moved in across the state, bringing with it winter like temperatures. Supply included 59 percent over 600 lbs and 42 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-320 lbs 270.00-295.00; 350-400 lbs 226.00-260.00; 400-500 lbs 212.00-220.00, thin fleshed 230.00; 500-550 lbs 201.00-215.00, fancy 232.50; 550-600 lbs 190.00-202.00; 600-650 lbs 172.00-184.00; 650-700 lbs 162.00-173.50; 700-705 lbs 157.00-161.00; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 185.00-193.50; 650-700 lbs 174.50-182.50; 700-800 lbs 166.00-177.75; 800-900 lbs 163.50-172.00, thin fleshed 174.00; 900-975 lbs 155.50-164.00.
