Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/04/2015

Receipts: 8967    Last Week: 5226    Year Ago: 5969

Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 7.00-10.00 lower. No trend established for feeder heifers due to limited comparable sales. Calves sold mostly steady to weak with most advances seen on those animals best suited for wheat pastures. Quality was plain to attractive. Demand was moderate for all classes as the CME Board closed down the limit today. Rains are expected overnight with some severe storms. Supply included 59 percent over 600 lbs and 32 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-315 lbs 315.00-326.00; 350-400 lbs 261.00-280.00; 400-450 lbs 228.00-259.00; 450-500 lbs 218.00-242.00; 500-600 lbs 202.00-240.00, fleshy 185.00-190.00; 600-700 lbs 172.00-197.00, fleshy 168.00; 700-750 lbs 165.00-184.50, fleshy 162.00; Yearlings: 600-610 lbs 203.50-213.00; 700-800 lbs 182.00-190.25; 800-900 lbs 170.50-189.75; 900-915 lbs 167.00-180.50; load 1125 lbs 159.70.
