Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 12/07/2015

   Actual Receipts: 11,852   Last Monday: 2,951   Year Ago Monday: 6,525

   Compared to the last test two weeks ago: Feeder steers and limited numbers of feeder heifers 8.00-12.00 lower. Steer calves 5.00-12.00 lower. Heifer calves 10.00-20.00 lower. Demand light to moderate as cattle futures made a sharp decline. Best demand for long weaned cattle and feeder cattle that would finish in April. Quality average to many attractive with several load lots of feeder cattle and long weaned calves available. Weather has warmed up to the upper 50's and low 60's since last weekend's ice storm. Supply included 56 percent over 600 lbs; and 32 percent heifers.
