Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/14/2015

Receipts: 6500    Week Ago: 9943    Year Ago: 6575

   Compared to last week, steer calves and yearling steers mostly 10.00 to 15.00 lower, heifer calves generally 5.00 to 10.00 lower on comparable weights and kind. Demand light, supply moderate. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle future contracts closed sharply lower. The feeder supply includes 61 percent steers, 33 percent heifers, 6 percent bulls, with 40 percent over 600 lbs.
