Bold Plans for a Bright Future is Theme for 64th Annual Convention of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association

Tue, 05 Jul 2016 15:26:55 CDT

Bold Plans for a Bright Future is Theme for 64th Annual Convention of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association Bold Plans for a Bright Future is the theme for the 64th Annual Convention and Trade Show of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association (OCA). The event will take place on July 21-23 at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Norman, Okla.

"Our annual convention is where the OCA policy is developed, industry discussions take place and friendships are made," said Charlie Swanson, OCA President. "In addition, there are also several opportunities for cattlemen to gain knowledge from the five Cattlemen's College sessions and explore the large trade show."

According to Swanson, 2016 marks the 64th year that cattlemen from across the state have been coming together for an annual convention and attendance increases year after year.

"We are excited about our new location and the possibilities it offers us to expand the trade show and accommodate the growing number of attendees," Swanson said. "Plan to join me and several hundred other fellow cattlemen to discuss industry issues, celebrate industry accomplishments and form policies for this member driven organization, the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association."

According to Swanson, OCA Convention is a family event and offers a large trade show, informative speakers, committee meetings for developing policy, leadership development for junior cattlemen and a banquet recognizing outstanding members and their accomplishments.

Pre-registration is encouraged. On-site registration is available for additional cost. For registration information or to view an agenda and featured speakers, click here.
