OK Association of Conservation Districts "Team-ing" With Excitement for Area Meetings This Fall

Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts will be hosting its 2016 Area Meetings this fall and is extending an invitation to all its OACD teammates to join them.
Meetings will feature speakers from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission (OCC), USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and other conservation specialists. In addition, area winners of the OACD Conservation Awards will be recognized in the categories of Outstanding Conservation District, Outstanding District Director and Outstanding Landowner/Cooperator and area youth contest award recipients will be announced.
The theme for OACD's meetings this fall is "Facing the Future Together - Team Conservation."
Team activities are planned with topics that include district partnership examples with new ideas on how to staff your local district office, discussions with soil health leaders, technology demonstrations, OACD's 2017 legislative agenda and more.

Tuesday, November 1, 2016 - Area I Meeting at the United Methodist Church 307 W. Main Street, Geary
Thursday, November 3, 2016 - Area III Meeting at Craig County Fairgrounds 915 E. Apperson Rd., Vinita
Tuesday, November 15, 2016 - Area IV Meeting at 1st Baptist Church Family Life Center 102 E. 2nd Street, Cordell
