Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 11/28/2016

   Actual Receipts: 7,946     Week ago: 6,020    Year ago: 2,951

   Compared to last week: All classes of feeder steers and heifers are trading 1.00-4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves mostly steady throughout the sale. Demand moderate to good especially for long weaned calves ready for wheat pasture. Much needed moisture swept across the state late in the weekend bringing much more seasonable temps. Even cooler weather is expected towards the end of the week. Feeder supply included 59 percent Steers, 38 percent Heifers, and 3 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 55 percent.
