Compared to the last sale on 12-18/19-18: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly 1.00-3.00 lower Demand moderate to good. Steer and heifer calves sold mostly steady to 3.00 higher, with exception of long weaned attractive calves trading sharply higher. Demand good to very good. Over the holiday break the trade area saw heavy rain and snowfall causing very muddy conditions.
Feeder cattle supply included 62 percent Steers, 37 percent Heifers, and 1 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70 percent.
