Feeder Steers Traded 1.00 to 2.00 Higher, Feeder Heifers Under 800 lbs Sold 1.00-2.00 Higher at OKC West

Total receipts this week: 6,104


Compared to last week: Feeder steers traded 1.00 to 2.00 higher, feeder heifers under 800 lbs sold 1.00-2.00 higher, over 1.00-3.00 lower. Demand moderate to good. Steer and heifer calves sold sharply higher, few comparable sales were 3.00-5.00 higher with instances of up to 8.00 higher. Demand very good as more spring like weather is in the forecast. Quality mostly plain to average, few attractive. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (64% Steers, 36% Heifers, 0% Bulls). Feeder Cattle supply over 600 lbs was 72%.
