Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 4.00 -10.00 lower with heavier weights as much as 12.00 lower. Sharp declines on
the CME Feeder contracts throughout the week has buyers hesitant. Demand light, moderate for grazing cattle. Steer and heifer calves traded 4.00-8.00 lower. Demand moderate. Quality average to to attractive. Despite huge losses on the Dow Jones and lower CME Live and Feeder cattle contracts yesterday, rallies have occurred sparking interest into the market on Tuesday. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (66% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 32% Heifers, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 79%.
