Zoom Webinars Planned for 2020 Cotton Production Planning and Dicamba Training by OSU

Zoom Webinars Planned for 2020 Cotton Production Planning and Dicamba Training by OSU Oklahoma State Univesity has several digital opportunities to look at production decisions for 2020- as well as to receive needed Dicamba Certification Training. For cotton producers, a meeting via webinar is planned for Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

The Cotton Production Meeting will start at 9:00 AM.



Topics and Speakers:

·     Cotton Agronomics, Dr. Seth Byrd, OSU Extension Cotton Specialist

·     Weed Control in Cotton, Dr. Todd Baughman, OSU Row Crops Weed Control Specialist

·     Cotton Diseases, Dr. John Damicone, OSU Extension Plant Pathology Specialist

·     Cotton Fertility, Dr. Brian Arnall, OSU Precision Nutrient Specialist

·     Cotton Policy Update, Dr. Amy Hagerman, OSU Ag Policy Specialist

·     Cotton Irrigation Research Update, Dr. Saleh Taghvaeian, OSU Extension Irrigation Specialist


The meeting will be held on the ZOOM platform.

In addition to the Cotton Production Webinar- Todd Baughman will be offering the following Dicamba Zoom Trainings to Oklahoma Applicators:



Thursday April 2 7:00-7:30 PM

Monday April 6 7:00-7:30 PM

Thursday April 9 11:30 AM Noon



The instructions on how to download Zoom and how to attend a meeting is in the PDF that you can click onto at the bottom of this story. Applicators will be able to sign-on and watch video from their home or workplace.



At the end of the training they will be able to sign-on to a weblink to fill out the necessary documentation and receive credit for the training.
