Ron Hays Goes One on One with Ethan Lane of NCBA on Stimulus Help for Cattle Producers and Huge Retail Demand for Beef

Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays talked on Thursday morning with NCBA Vice President for Government Affairs, Ethan Lane, about the surreal times all of America seems to be walking through- and zeroed in on the huge losses that many cattle producers have incurred in recent days.

Lane gives an update on the cattle industry working with Congress and the Administration on requesting help for the Beef Cattle industry- and offered some insights into what that assistance might look like once the House approves the two trillion dollar stimulus package already approved by the Senate.

Lane also describes the dialogue that he and others at NCBA have been having about the supply side of the equaion, as consumers have been buying beef as fast as they can at the retail level.
