Derrell Peel and Ron Hays Talk April's Cattle on Feed Report Ahead of the Easter Holiday Weekend

The latest monthly Cattle on Feed Report was released on Thursday afternoon ahead of Good Friday and the Easter Holiday weekend. Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays talked with Oklahoma State University Extension Livestock Market Economist Dr. Derrell Peel about the numbers, which Peel says are generally in line with what the pre market guesses suggested.

The on feed number was up two percent from April 1, 2018, while placements were up 5% and marketings were down 3%.
