John Deere Green Fever Sweepstakes Continues Through the End of February

With the continued strong interest in farm, commercial and property owner equipment helping to fan a surge in equipment sales, John Deere is giving customers additional reasons to visit their local dealers this winter. Although its first quarter sales promotion ends January 31, the John Deere Green Fever Sweepstakes is in full force at participating John Deere dealers in the United States and Canada.

The Green Fever Sweepstakes, which started in November and runs through February 28, 2011, gives customers and prospects a chance to win a grand prize of either a new Ford F-250 Lariat 4x4 pickup and a new John Deere 1026R Sub-Compact Utility Tractor with loader, or $50,000 (USD) cash. In addition, there are monthly prizes of either a John Deere Gator XUV, a ZTrak Mower or X729 Ultimate Tractor.

According to Steve Geick, John Deere tactical marketing manager, the Green Fever Sweepstakes continues the excitement and interest in equipment generated by company's biggest ever sales promotion for select lawn equipment, utility tractors and hay tools.

"The zero-percent APR financing and big discounts got a lot of attention from customers during the sales promotion period, and now the Green Fever Sweepstakes with its grand prizes - the Ford F-250 4x4 pickup and John Deere Compact Utility Tractor - will generate even more interest in our full line of equipment," Geick says. "We encourage everyone interested in finding out more information about our equipment to visit their local dealer before the end of February and to participate in the Sweepstakes for their chance at these great prizes."

To enter the Green Fever Sweepstakes, participants can stop by their local John Deere dealer for a sweepstakes promo code card and to check out the latest equipment for the farm and ranch, as well as for home and commercial lawn and landscape maintenance. With the promo code, customers can go online to complete and submit the sweepstakes registration. Sweepstakes prizes will be given away for the months of December, January and February. The grand prize will be drawn on or about April 30, 2011.
