Oklahoma Corn Crop Looking Good- and Tall

Oklahoma is not exactly considered the Corn Belt when it comes to production of that feed grain- but we do have quite a few more acres this year than in recent years this season sprinkled across the state- and some of that corn is already getting close to making a crop.
For example, this picture above of is from a field in Canadian County- just a little southeast of Okarche. Larry Zumwalen offered the photo to us and these thoughts- "The corn we planted back in April is now over 7 foot tall. One more rain and it will really fill out nicely."
