American Farmland Trust Commends Retiring Conservation Leader Dave White

American Farmland Trust (AFT) released the following statement congratulating National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Chief Dave White on the announcement of his retirement:
"Throughout his 35-year career at USDA, Chief White has been a passionate conservationist and dedicated public servant in protecting farmland and conserving natural resources. While we will miss his leadership, we wish him well," said Jeremy Peters, Director of Federal Policy for AFT.
"We also look forward to working with Acting Chief Jason Weller, and we are confident in his abilities to lead NRCS during this time of transition," said Peters.
