Compared to last week, steers and heifers opened steady. Demand was good and supply was moderate.

Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 500-600 lbs 171.00-181.50; 600-700 lbs 154.00-176.00; 700-800 lbs 150.00-155.00.   Medium and Large 1-2 500-600 lbs 169.00-173.00.

Holstein Steers: Large 3 pkg 405 lbs 133.00; pkg 505 lbs 119.00; pkg 710 lbs 106.00; lot 960 lbs 85.00.

Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 159.00-170.00; 500-600 lbs 149.00-163.00; 600-700 lbs 143.00-153.00; 700-800 lbs 136.00-142.50. Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 146.00-153.00; 500-600 lbs 146.00-147.00; 600-700 lbs 136.00-148.00.
