Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 11/18/2013



   

Actual Receipts: 9,801    Last Week: 9655    Year Ago: 5224

Compared to last week: Feeder steers mostly steady in early rounds with exception of cattle over 800 lbs trading 2.00-3.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to weak on limited offerings. Steer and heifer claves are selling mostly 3.00-5.00 higher with very good demand especially for long weaned and vaccinated calves selling as much as 8.00 higher. Demand remains good for all classes. Supply included 64 percent over 600 lbs. and 38 percent heifers.

   Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 300-400 lbs 223.00-245.00; 400-500 lbs 204.00-231.00 lbs; 500-600 lbs 183.00-202.00, fancy and value added 200.00-220.00; 625-650 lbs 167.50-174.00, fleshy 154.00-160.00; 650-700 lbs 159.00-165.00; 700-775 lbs 157.00-162.50, fleshy 151.50-154.00; 800-850 lbs 152.00-158.50; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 172.25-181.50, pkg fancy 600 lbs 184.75; 650-700 lbs 167.50-175.00; 700-775 lbs 162.50-170.00; 800-850 lbs 158.75-167.50; load fancy 875 lbs 165.75; 900-950 lbs 153.00-156.00.

   Medium and Large 1-2: Calves: few 380 lbs 207.00; 425-500 lbs 193.00-209.00; 500-575 lbs 175.00-188.00; 615-700 lbs 154.00-160.00; 700-730 lbs 153.50; Yearlings: 600-700 lbs 155.00-169.00; 700-800 lbs 152.00-165.50; 825-900 lbs 153.00-159.50; few 900 lbs 152.50.
