Estimated Receipts: 8000 Last Monday: Closed Year Ago Monday: 10,751

Compared to the last December 16, 2013: Feeder steers and steer calves 5.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers and heifer calves 3.00-6.00 higher. Demand very good for all classes following the holiday season. One note some cattle already headed to grass and some still headed to graze out wheat and these selling to very good demand. Slaughter cattle trade moved sharply higher making an 8.00 advance over the two week holiday period.

   
Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1: Calves: 365-400 lbs 231.00-243.00; few 400-440 lbs 229.00-246.00; 450-500 lbs 216.50-229.00; 500-550 lbs 204.00-218.00, fleshy 201.00-202.00; 550-600 lbs 186.00-203.00; few 600-700 lbs 170.00-176.00; 700-750 lbs 160.50-166.50; Yearlings: 600-650 lbs 181.00-195.00; 650-700 lbs 171.00-183.50; 700-800 lbs 165.75-176.00; 800-865 lbs 158.00-165.00; 900-960 lbs 154.50-158.00.
   
Medium and Large 1-2: 500-525 lbs 199.00; 550-600 lbs 185.00-190.00; 600-700 lbs 167.25-179.00, lot 625 lbs 184.75; 700-750 lbs 160.50-169.00; 825-900 lbs 154.00-157.00.
