Receipts: 9030    Last Week: 6869    Year Ago: 6005

Compared to last week: Feeders steers weighing over 750 pounds traded mostly steady to 2.00 higher, with instances of 10.00 higher on steers weighing between 600 and 700 pounds. Steers weighing between 700 and 750 pounds were 5.00 lower compared to last week's sharply higher market. Feeder heifers traded mostly steady to 2.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher where comparable sales were noted. Feeder cattle demand was good. Quality plain to attractive. Warm temperatures have been reported across the state, with some much need precipitation expected in the western and central regions of the state over the holiday weekend. Receipts this week totaled 83 percent over 600 lbs and 41 percent heifers.
