Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 11/12/2014

Receipts: 7507    Last Week: 3951    Year Ago: 6473

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold with a higher undertone compared to last week's limited offering. Steer and heifer calves sold 8.00 to 12.00 higher. Demand good to very good for all classes, especially for long weaned calves headed for wheat pasture. A strong winter storm has blew across most of the Midwest bringing temperatures into the teens. Supply included 65 percent over 600 lbs; 36 percent heifers.
