AgriClear Building Awareness with Cattle Producers After Midyear Launch of Platform

A new marketing platform for buying and selling cattle is off to strong start. AgriClear was launched in June of this year. AgriClear Vice President of U.S. Operations Dr. Nevil Speer is optimistic about AgriClear's future. Right now, their main objective is to continue to build awareness and have more producers market their cattle through their website. Over the next two to three years, he said their goal is create critical mass with liquidity and market depth.
AgriClear has been designed for cattle producers of all sizes. Speer said it works best for producers that can assemble a load of cattle.
"Once you can put a load of cattle together you are a market maker," Speer said. "Whether you exploit that is another question and that's where AgriClear comes in. We want you to exploit that."
AgriClear also works with smaller producers. If producers have a partial load or a trailer load of cattle, Speer said they can use AgriClear's platform to create local buying. He said they are looking for innovative producers that have high-quality cattle that qualify for value-added beef programs and they want to sell their cattle to a broader base of buyers. AgriClear also works with buyers that are looking for cattle with specific attributes.
