You may have heard about it by now. Chuck Knows Beef, powered by Google's most advanced artificial intelligence technology, is the first ever all-knowing digital beef expert. Chuck, as he is affectionately called sometimes, was officially launched earlier this spring. According to Buckmaster, he is out there and ready to interact with consumers to teach them about beef, how it is produced, how to cook it and to help them make their purchasing decisions. This project spearheaded by the National Beef Checkoff team has really gained traction since its release at an annual meat industry conference. Buckmaster says the National Beef Checkoff team has since been working with manufacturers and retailers to help get Chuck out in front of their customers so he can fully begin to help acquaint today's modern shoppers with beef and drive beef demand.
"There are nearly 50 million smart speaker owners in the US today and Chuck Knows Beef is a skill on these speakers," Buckmaster said. "As tech savvy Millennials become parents, we are working through the Checkoff to target this next generation of family cooks looking for inspiration and information with the invention of Chuck."
