Steers and Heifers Mostly Steady to Higher at Joplin Regional Stockyards on Monday

Compared to last week, steers steady, except 800 weighs 5.00 to 10.00 higher, heifers under 650 lbs steady, over 650 lbs steady to 5.00 higher. Demand moderate to good, supply moderate. Fed Cattle traded higher last week and lower grains at the CBOT was all positive for the yearling trade. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers,38% Heifers, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 61%.
