Compared to last week: Slaughter cows mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand good. Several nice high quality slaughter cows on offer today. A total of 233 cows and bulls with 57 percent going to packers.
The estimated dressed cost at the OKC West Livestock Auction: Lean cows 126.65; Boners 124.50; Breakers 118.15; Light weight cows 104.75; Bulls 154.85. Supply included: 35%Feeder Cattle; 56% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (43% Bred Cows, 48% Bred Heifers, 10% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%
