Wes Lee Honored with OAEAA Distinguished Educator Award

OAEAA would like to recognize Wes Lee with the NACAA Distinguished Service Award. The purpose of the Distinguished Service Award Program is to encourage and recognize excellence in the field of professional Extension for members with more than ten years of service. The Distinguished Service Award shall be presented to members who have served at least 10 years as members of the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, who have conducted outstanding programs, are held in high esteem by their fellow workers.
Wes Lee is currently the Ag Coordinator with the Oklahoma Mesonet where he provides weather information and products to Oklahoma farmers and ranchers. His 32 years of extension work also included being an Area Specialist in the fields of entomology and water quality as well as a County Educator and Director in Murray and McClain counties. He has previously served in the role of president and secretary of OAEAA
